Fic Rec for the week of 6-12-11 by OneofEddie'sGirls

Well this is One of Eddies Girls and I am honored to be able to give you all the rec for this week.

On the same day that Carlisle’s father dies, and Edward is born, his grandfather predicts 5 fateful days that Edward will go through. The 5 days are all terrible, the final day is left without knowing whether it’s the last of his life or not. Even though lots of things happen to Edward in between those dates, the story pretty much features only them. Alice has a special connection with the dates as well in that she can feel when something isn’t going to be okay, but unfortunately for Edward, Alice cannot prevent the events from taking place. Come take the ride with us to find out how Edwards life turns out. Will he survive the last terrible day or will it be the end of his life?

The story is currently up to chapter 7, but at one point it was completed. The author chose to take the story down to fix errors in the story that were bothering her, she will be posting updates on a regular basis until having it complete again. I was able to enjoy the story the first time around and feel that it is very deserving of more attention. So go read and review such a wonderful story.

Random's Fic Rec of the Week for 6-5-11

So today is my turn to rec a story for our Spotlight Sunday :) The story I chose to rec today is written by a great friend of mine. This girl has amazing writing talent and I am so happy that she chooses to share it with us.

The story, I Remember Moments not Days has had me hooked from the beginning. She currently has 14 chapters posted, and the story was just started on 5-31. So as you can tell she is publishing the chapters quickly, which is a good thing because once you start you won't be able to put it down.

New things added to the blog!

Dear Ladies and Gents,

We are working really hard to get this blog up and running! As you can see off to the right side we have added some new pages for rec's we would like to give to you all. Eventually we'll be able to take your recommendations in all of the categories but for now we are only able to start with two...Mini Mondays and Free For All Fridays.

We need your help, you have to email us and let us know if you have any ideas for these two categories that you would like to see here.

Mini Monday is for one shots. Tell us one that gets you all hot and bothered or one that is so sweet it makes your Dentist call you for an appointment, we don't care just tell us!

Free For All Friday is a place where you can rec any fic no matter what the genre, pairings, or situation.

Please be sure to include a link for the author and fic, and your link or email as well. We need to know why these stories grab you so be descriptive, be creative and sell us on your favs. You never know when we may call on you to be a guest reviewer for us!

Trio Thursday this is our poly section. If you write or read a story that includes some poly lovin' then let us know so we can share it with others. The poly lovers will love you for it ;)

So keep some fics in mind for these once they roll out!
