Well it's that time again...gather around and bring your drink of choice so I can introduce you to a favorite fic of mine. Has been since day one of this thing, I just can't turn away from it and the good thing is now it's complete.
Worth the Burn by My Bella
We start out to find out that Bella has been Alice's friend for years. Edward is, of course, Alice's brother. I think you see where this is going. But not exactly...see Bella is a little more bad ass in this fic and Edward is a little more canon. So they didn't always mix with each other. Well, Bella never mixed with Edward but our dear sweet boy has had his eye on Bella for while. Late one Halloween night the group gets together to go on a scavenger hunt that finds Bella and Edward paired up (thanks to sweet sister Alice) and the two finally see that there may be more to this strained friendship than what meets the eye.
We get to see these two hop on a rollercoaster ride of love that mimics real life in so many ways yet still has a fairytale quality about it. It makes you cheer, scream, cry, beg, plead and jump up and down.
I love the realistic qualities of Edward while still remaining the sweet, suave man that we all love so much. And this Bella will blow your socks off, she is strong, independent and makes you like her in spite of her flaws. The rest of the group rounds out this duo and supports them through all their happiness and fuck ups. You will fall in love with all of them all over again.
